dvbstream software package provides Broadcast a DVB Transport stream over a LAN, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dvbstream
dvbstream is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dvbstream package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dvbstream *
You will get with dvbstream package name, version, architecture and description in a table
